Internal Foundation Training: An Introduction to Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan with Joshua Craig

Pre-requisites: No previous experience is required to attend. This workshop is open to all participants!

Join us as we explore Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan, the art of Grandmaster Sam F.S. Chin!

Instructor Joshua Craig is visiting San Luis Obispo to present the unique Internal Foundation Training of Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan. This will be a “style neutral” workshop, specifically designed for martial artists of all styles.

In this workshop we will train, both solo and with partners, so that each participant will personally experience each principle in action.

We will explore the following concepts:

• Mindfulness in Action
• Movement vs. Fighting
• Universal Principles of Human Movement
• Relaxation, Gravity Force and Alignment
• The Six Directions
• The Three Dimensions
• Rotating
• Circling
• Solo Exercises
• Partner Exercises

Instructor Joshua Craig is a student of Grandmaster Sam F.S. Chin. He teaches Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan classes in New York City, as well as at workshops in various cities around the world, and at the annual summer camp in Poland.

Joshua will be returning to San Luis Obispo throughout the year to introduce the Zhong Xin Dao program of basic exercises and home practice methods, so that participants may continue their exploration of these mind-body principles.
