Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan: Level 1 for Beginner and Advanced Practitioners with Joshua Craig

Pre-requisites: No previous experience is required to attend. This workshop is open to all participants!

In this special workshop, Instructor Joshua Craig will guide us in recognizing how the principles observed in Level 1 of the Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan Curriculum are essential to more advanced material. We will highlight the principles found in Level 1 and explore them through select exercises from our form, spinning hand, and sticky hand phases of our training.

The Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan Level 1 Curriculum presents the following ten basic exercises:

1. Stance
2. Absorb & Project
3. Horizontal Plane
4. Frontal Plane
5. Sagittal Plane
6. Incorporating 3 Planes of Movement
7. Condense & Expand
8. Macrocosmic Orbit Flow
9. Tu’na (condensed) Breathing
10. North, East, South, West

In this workshop we will train, both solo and with partners, so that each participant will recognize each step of the training process.

Instructor Joshua Craig is a student of Grandmaster Sam F.S. Chin. He teaches Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan classes in New York City, as well as at workshops in various cities around the world, and at the annual summer camp in Poland.

Joshua will be returning throughout the year to introduce the Zhong Xin Dao I Liq Chuan program of basic exercises and home practice methods.

Saturday, May 4th: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (includes 1 hour break)
Sunday, May 5th: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (includes 1 hour break)
